13: The Tabernacle — Singing with Inspiration
Exodus points us to a wonderful conclusion with the Israelites being bound for the Promised Land, hence our theme hymn for the quarter being
We Are Bound For The Promised Land – Hymn 620.
What wonderful learning for this quarter through the Exodus of God’s people from Egypt, all the things that happened along the way, to the building of the Tabernacle. Sabbath afternoon’s introduction concludes with “He saves those who come to Him in faith”. Please do say that
I Do Believe – Hymn 486.
Sunday continues to instruct about The Sabbath. We are reminded
Don’t Forget The Sabbath – Hymn 388 and then we are able to say
We Love Thy Sabbath, Lord – Hymn 390.
With the multitude of offerings given to build The Tabernacle, the people were declaring
We Give Thee But Thine Own – Hymn 670 during Monday’s study time. This day finished up with the instructions saying: “To advance God’s cause and fulfill His mission, God empowers His followers to accomplish His objectives and do it well.” Are we now prepared to say
I’ll Go Where You Want Me To Go – Hymn 573?
With the bountiful beauties of The Tabernacle, built as per God’s instructions, we all learn that
God Is Our Strong Salvation – Hym 399, and can say undeniably
How Lovely Is Thy Dwelling Place – Hymn 62. All of this is because of
Marvelous Grace – Hymn 109. We are then able to see that “The sanctuary was a place for worshiping God, praising Him, and giving thanks”:
Hymn 83 – O Worship The King, Hymn 1 – Praise To The Lord and
Hymn 276 – Thanks To God.
As this world continues to fall apart, we look forward to the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven to earth, as we learn at the end of Thursday’s study:
Jerusalem, My Happy Home – Hymn 420.
Please continue to search the scriptures this week to be blessed, and to bless others.
