  1. Thank you. You opened my eyes to the possibilities. I am not able to get around like I used to, but the example of your housebound friend gives me encouragement and hope I can still do something.

  2. I signed up for this website awhile back and had not read any of the messages. Today this story of the man who was confined to his wheelchair and prayed to be able to spread the love of the Lord is beautiful and inspiring.

  3. Thank you William, for your testimony. The Lord is able to use us in any situation that we might think it is not conducive for spreading the gospel only when we allow Him to lead us (Deuteronomy 31:8). It should be our prayer everyday to ASK Him to use us to advance His work of Salvation. I'm reminded of Paul and Silas in Philippi prison, instead of murmuring, crying or trying to send the message to the brethren to arrange "bail money" or "good lawyers" to take them out of prison they prayed and sang praises to God (they were thinking of the powerful advocate in heaven). I would believe prison ministry was not in their evangelism plans but somebody had to preach to the prison-keeper and his family. So next time I'm in prison, hospital or whatever unfavourable situation, I should pray and give praises to God AND not forgetting to ASK Him to use me in reaching others with the gospel.

  4. I always believe I don't know how to witness, especially on a job where it's not legal to talk about anything religious. I am always searching for ways to witness, after reading these stories I think I will keep asking God for opportunities no matter how small.

  5. I wonder why the thought of 'missions' is usually associated with going somewhere else? Fact is the opportunity here is at least as great as anywhere else.. Especially when one considers the degree to which our rights here in America now supersede rights and wrongs. Is it possible that it is harder now to reach people HERE than there? Perhaps that is why we want to go somewhere else? Path of least resistance? Here the premise is that its all good. There the presence of evil is real enough to convict. Here even inside the church we would rather be offended than convicted. I just pray that we are not taking OUR false (its all good) gospel THERE!

To get to read the third quarter he told me to check this website,i always believe in God( i was actually Catholic) but since meeting my boyfriend it inspired me how much i enjoy reading the Bible and some Bible Story,it gets me more closer to God each time were talking together with Jesus, and i Pray that God will give me more wisdom to learn more about His words and to serve Him better...

  7. Your title reminds me of the song "Every day with Jesus is sweeter then the day before. Every day with Jesus I love Him more and more. Jesus saved and keeps me, and He's the one I'm waiting for. Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before." We could add that every day with Jesus, my light shines brighter than the day before. Every day with Jesus is new opertunity to be His missionary.
"Lord how shall I best serve and glorify Thy name in the earth? How shall I conduct my life to make Thy name a praise in the earth, and lead others to love, serve, and honor Thee? Let me only desire and choose Thy Will. Let the words and example of my redeemeder be the light and strength of my heart. While I follow and trust in Him, He will not leave me to parish. He shall be the crown of my rejoicing." Review and Harold Aug. 10, 1886

  8. Finally!!! Someone talking about what I have been seeing happen in my own life. A few years ago I was in a place where I had the opportunity to go on out of country mission trips and I never felt compelled to go.
I started praying about it after I was being gently pushed to consider it - after all I had lived over seas for many years and spoke a couple different languages. But after consulting God, I felt that my mission was right here at home. And I have seen lives change as a result.
It is so exciting to see God woking through me in this way! Gentle friendship, exhibiting a consistently happy, healthy life - are attractive things. They will cause lost, seeking souls to want to find out what you have that they need. It is an amazing thing.

  9. Thank you for your insight brother William. This World is ending and there is no time to waste. Missionary work is our work but some of us have excuses such as jobs, studies, families etc. Wherever we are, there is somebody to be brought to Christ and therefore there is no excuse at all not to work in the vineyard of God.
