Thursday: Limits and Rules

Cosmic Conflict

Daily Lesson for Thursday 6th of March 2025 The cosmic conflict is primarily a dispute over God’s character, caused by the devil’s slanderous allegations against God’s goodness, justice, and government. It is a kind of cosmic covenant lawsuit. Such a conflict cannot be settled by sheer power but, instead, requires demonstration. If serious allegations are … Continue reading –>

People Walking Through a Door in a Large Bible

Daily Lesson for Wednesday 5th of March 2025 We have seen in previous lessons that, within the cosmic conflict, Satan and his cohorts are temporarily granted significant jurisdiction in this world, limited according to some kind of rules of engagement. Man Praying by Darrel Tank

Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. Acts 12:5 NKJV When Peter was arrested and put in prison for the sake of the Gospel, the church asked God to intervene and free Peter, which He did. Some may wonder how intercessory prayers work. Does … Continue reading –>

Jesus Under a Rainbow

Daily Lesson for Monday 3rd of March 2025 The overarching perspective of celestial rulers in the cosmic conflict is encapsulated in the book of Revelation, where the devil is depicted as “the great dragon” who opposes God and “deceives the whole world” (Revelation 12:9, NKJV). 10: Rules of Engagement — Singing with Inspiration

Sabbath School Net Posted on March 1, 2025 by Corinne KnopperMarch 1, 2025avatar

The studies in this quarter’s pamphlet encourage us to see God’s Love and Justice, just as we may sing in Hymn 79 – O Love of God, How Strong and True! which is a beautiful theme hymn for our studies. Rather than the fake gods that we read a lot about this week while studying, it … Continue reading –>

At a camp meeting 40 years later, I happened to see Dr. I. demonstrating some kind of health product, if I remember correctly. (In my mind, I see only the image of him, much older, but still looking much like he did when I was a student, with a friend by my side.) I lingered a little but did not introduce myself. I briefly wondered whether he recognized me. I’m fairly sure that I was as recognizable to him as he was to me.

Had he changed? Or did he still feel superior in his “humility”? Should I talk to him? I didn’t know how to approach him, and was busy with friends. I still don’t know whether I should have said something. (Maybe I’m just a coward.)

If God wants him to see my story, his and my identity are clear enough in this post, that God can direct him to it.
