8: Light From the Sanctuary – Teaching Plan

Sabbath School Net Posted on May 20, 2024 by Michael FrackerMay 20, 2024Michael Fracker

Key Thought: The longest Bible prophecy concerns the heavenly sanctuary and the great controversy. This prophecy refers to the attack on the heavenly sanctuary and also the cleansing in the judgment. May 25, 2024 1. Have a volunteer read Exodus 25:8,9,40; Hebrews 8:1-6. Ask class members to share a short thought on what the most … Continue reading –>

Judgment in Heaven

Daily Lesson for Tuesday 21st of May 2024 Compare Daniel 7:9-10 with Revelation 14:6-7. What is the similarity between these two passages? The judgment is a prominent theme throughout the Bible. “For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:14, NKJV). Our High Priest Gives Us Hope and Then More Hope

Sabbath School Net Posted on May 20, 2024 by William EarnhardtMay 27, 2024avatar

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.  For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.  Let us therefore … Continue reading –>

At a camp meeting 40 years later, I happened to see Dr. I. demonstrating some kind of health product, if I remember correctly. (In my mind, I see only the image of him, much older, but still looking much like he did when I was a student, with a friend by my side.) I lingered a little but did not introduce myself. I briefly wondered whether he recognized me. I’m fairly sure that I was as recognizable to him as he was to me.

Had he changed? Or did he still feel superior in his “humility”? Should I talk to him? I didn’t know how to approach him, and was busy with friends. I still don’t know whether I should have said something. (Maybe I’m just a coward.)

If God wants him to see my story, his and my identity are clear enough in this post, that God can direct him to it.
