13: Into Eternity-Sabbath School Lesson Teaching Plan
Prepared for Sabbath School Class on June 27, 2026.

Key Text: “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is” (1 John 3:2, NKJV).
Read in Class: 1 John 3:1-3.
Study: When we finally see Jesus, will our growth be complete, or will we keep growing in our realtionship with Him through all eterity? If so, in what ways will we keep growing and changing for all eternity?
Apply: How is beholdsing the love of God fitting you and preparing you for eternity in the here and now?
Share: Share how your anxiety levels would change this week if you lived with the daily expectation that you will eventually see Christ face-to-face?
Read in Class: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and Philippians 2:10-11.
Study: What is the hope and assurance that these passages bring to us?
Apply: How does knowing that every knee will bow and proclaim Christ is Lord, help us put our rivalries and competitions with each other into prespective?
Share: When somone is grieving or going through a hard time. do we usually encourage themby sharing the hope of the second coming of Jesus, or do we point to things in this life to bring cuurage?
Read in Class: Revelation 21:9-27.
Study:What analogy was given, and why do you think it was used?
Apply: Why is this so hard for us now to imagine? How do we even begin to wrap our minds around what is promised to us here?
Share: The gates are never shut because there is no night. What “fears” or “defenses” do you carry now that you look forward to dropping when you finally reach a place of perfect safety?
Read in Class: Isaiah 25:8, Revelation 7:17 and Revelation 21:4.
Study: What other blessings might we look forward to in eternity?
Apply: Do you believe God will just be wiping away the tears we will be crying in heaven, or will it include every tear we have ever cried? How does knowing God will wipe the tears from our eyes help us make it through the tirals and tragedies of this life?
Share: Your firend says he heard there will be no crying in heaven. If that is so, why does God hacve to wipe tears from our eyes? What do you tell your friend?
Mission: What is your greates take away from this quarter’s lesson? Can you share it with someone this week?
