Sabbath School Net Posted on March 7, 2012 by Joyce GriffithMay 12, 2015Joyce Griffith

“God is my best Friend,” Judy said quietly to her friend Stacy as the adult Sabbath school was tranforming into the worship hour.1 “Mine, too,” Stacy replied. “The best Friend I’ve ever had. I talk to Him a lot.” A set of shoulders in front of them paused and turned in their direction. It was … Continue reading –>

Woman prays i the presence of Fire of God.

Do you know what a “user interface” is? If you do, please forgive me while I sound like I know what I’m talking about for a bit. The “user interface” is how the user (human) interacts with an electronic device. For example, on some computers, the user interface is the keyboard and mouse; tablet computers … Continue reading –>

Wednesday: Because You Do Not Ask

Sabbath School Net Posted on March 6, 2012 by Sabbath School LessonFebruary 14, 2016avatar

One of the questions that those who pray often ask is, “Can my prayers really move God to do something that, otherwise, He might not do?” That’s a logical question. To answer it, all we can do is go to the Word of God and see what it says.1 Read James 4:2; Luke 11:9, 10; James 5:16–18. What … Continue reading –>

Sunday: The Past and the Future

Sabbath School Net Posted on March 3, 2012 by Sabbath School LessonDecember 9, 2016avatar

One day, a young man received a letter from a former co-worker, someone who had retired a number of years earlier. The two workers, to put it mildly, hadn’t gotten along; the one who had left, from the start, had treated the other one badly. Anyway, the worker still there opened the letter and started … Continue reading –>

The Irresistible Sin of Babylon

Sabbath School Net Posted on March 2, 2012 by Stan HudsonMay 12, 2015avatar

[Editor’s Note: When we think of prophecy, our minds often turn to the message of Rev 14:6-10 and Rev 18:4, and we are reminded that it is our responsibility to call God’s people out of Babylon. But do we understand the sin of Babylon so we can be sure that we do not participate in … Continue reading –>

Sabbath School Net Posted on March 1, 2012 by Sabbath School LessonFebruary 14, 2016avatar

“The Bible is the most ancient and the most comprehensive history that men possess. At a camp meeting 40 years later, I happened to see Dr. I. demonstrating some kind of health product, if I remember correctly. (In my mind, I see only the image of him, much older, but still looking much like he did when I was a student, with a friend by my side.) I lingered a little but did not introduce myself. I briefly wondered whether he recognized me. I’m fairly sure that I was as recognizable to him as he was to me.

Had he changed? Or did he still feel superior in his “humility”? Should I talk to him? I didn’t know how to approach him, and was busy with friends. I still don’t know whether I should have said something. (Maybe I’m just a coward.)

If God wants him to see my story, his and my identity are clear enough in this post, that God can direct him to it.
