Corinth – the Backdrop For Paul’s Letter — 7 Comments

    • Thanks for the feedback, Ronald. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how good this series of videos is. I guess I’ve not been diligent enough to look up all the background of Paul’s letters, and these videos have really been helpful.

      • These types of videos seems to be a growing trend. They are AI-generated but I’m thrilled to see how technology can be used for teaching and ministry. Similar Youtube channels are On This Path, Spirit Lift, The Verse Atlas, Bible Deep Dive, and Yonderminded.

I still prefer the conventional Sabbath School discussions such as 3ABN, Hope Sabbath School, It is Written, Hope Lives 365, Secrets Unsealed, Talking Points, and Whispering Hope.

  1. Great! I hope all found there is one for each lesson so far and you can watch it the Sabbath afternoon before instead of after on youtube.

At a camp meeting 40 years later, I happened to see Dr. I. demonstrating some kind of health product, if I remember correctly. (In my mind, I see only the image of him, much older, but still looking much like he did when I was a student, with a friend by my side.) I lingered a little but did not introduce myself. I briefly wondered whether he recognized me. I’m fairly sure that I was as recognizable to him as he was to me.

Had he changed? Or did he still feel superior in his “humility”? Should I talk to him? I didn’t know how to approach him, and was busy with friends. I still don’t know whether I should have said something. (Maybe I’m just a coward.)

If God wants him to see my story, his and my identity are clear enough in this post, that God can direct him to it.
